Adding & removing widgets

You can add or remove widgets on the administrator dashboard to streamline what information you see, and how it looks. Widgets are added and removed via the widget library. Your widget customisations are stored by Lens, so when you log in on a different device your changes are persisted.

Adding widgets

1. Log into the Lens Portal

2. In the left sidebar, go to the Overview menu and select the Dashboard item

3. At the bottom of the left sidebar, go to the Widgets menu and select the Unlock widgets item. Please note, this option is only available on the administrator dashboard page.
   

   

4. A new option Add/Remove widgets should be visible in the menu, select this item
   

   

   
   

5. In the Add widgets modal, click the Add button on all the widgets you would like to have on your dashboard.
   

   

   
   

6. Once you have selected all the widgets you require, scroll to the bottom of the modal and click the Done button

7. When you are done, open the left sidebar. At the bottom of the left sidebar, go to the Widgets menu and select the Lock widgets item. This will prevent widgets from accidentally being moved or resized.

Removing widgets

4. A new option Add/Remove widgets should be visible in the menu, select this item

   

   
   

5. In the Add widgets modal, click the Remove button on all the widgets you would like to remove from your dashboard.

   

   
   

6. Once you are done, scroll to the bottom of the modal and click the Done button

7. When you are done, open the left sidebar. At the bottom of the left sidebar, go to the Widgets menu and select the Lock widgets item. This will prevent widgets from accidentally being moved or resized.
