Checking/refreshing users and groups

The 7FiveFive NAS has two types of users and groups: local and LDAP/Active Directory. After following the steps in the ‘Setting up the dashboard’, you can see the LDAP and local users which have been imported into the system. You can also refresh the user and group list if new users and groups have not been added yet. Refreshing users and groups can take a while depending on the size of the Active Directory system.

1. From the Shares menu, go to the Users & groups page.

2. Click the Refresh users and group list button to update the user list

3. Ensure there are no filters turned off in the filter menus
