Setting the application log level

The Lens system logs many operational-level and system-level events to log files for review by engineers. The log level of the system is usually set by 7fivefive, but it's easy to change this if requested by 7fivefive support.

Logs can be stored in JSON or simple log formats for analysis by SIEM or log aggregation systems. Contact 7fivefive support for help with configuring the logging formats.

  1. In the Lens sidebar, open the Configuration sub-menu and select the Settings option

  2. Under the General section, select Application

  3. Select the Advanced tab

  4. In the Log level dropdown, select from one of the log levels

  5. Click the Save button
