Creating a new workstation template

Creating a workstation template is simple and straightforward when using the Lens Portal. The template only needs to be created once, and then after that, all workstations can be created from it much more quickly.

In Lens 2025.8

1. In the left sidebar, expand the Workstations menu and then select the Configuration option

2. In the menu, under the Templates section, select the Templates option.

3. Click the ➕ Create templates button
   

   

4. In the modal, enter a name for the template

5. If you have more than one platform configured, then select the platform this template is for

6. Click the Add button

In Lens 2025.1

1. Log in to the Lens Portal.

2. In the left sidebar, expand the Workstations menu and then select the Configuration option

3. In the menu, under the Templates section, select the Templates option.

4. Next to the template selection dropdown, click the green ➕ button.

5. In the modal, enter a name for the template

6. If you have more than one platform configured, then select the platform this template is for

7. Click the Add button

8. In the Select a template dropdown, select template you just created
