Image search

Whilst it is possible to specify a specific AMI or image ID in a workstation template, it’s recommended to use an image that has been defined in the Image search settings. This is because often image IDs change, or are quickly outdated or removed. Image search is a feature in the Lens Portal that ensures new workstations are deployed with the latest available image. Users can add their own image search configurations, and Lens will then use this configuration to get the latest image ID.
