Setting the workstation's time zone

If you log into a Lens workstation and the time or time zone is incorrect, ensure you have enabled the Time Zone Redirection setting in your Amazon DCV client. Follow the guide below on how to do this:

Windows

  1. Connect to a workstation via Lens

  2. In the Amazon DCV client window, click the image-20260330-131650.png (cog) icon

  3. Select the Time Zone Redirection option. Its value should change to Enabled.

You may need to log out for this change to take effect.


MacOS & Linux

  1. Connect to a workstation via Lens

  2. Select the Amazon DCV client window

  3. In the system toolbar, select the Preferences option

  4. Navigate to the General tab

  5. Check the Enable timezone redirection option

  6. Click the Close button

You may need to log out for this change to take effect.
