Access controls

Controlling access to your workstations is a core part of what Lens does. There are many layers to keeping your workstations secure, but Lens makes controlling these security measures easy.

We control access to workstations by managing which security principle can connect to a selected pool. A security principal in Lens is:

• A user (Local, SAML or LDAP)

• A group (SAML or LDAP)

• A Lens role

We recommend using groups for pool access control as this allows for simpler on-boarding and off-boarding of users.
