In some circumstances it may be required to reset the API key that is generated between the Lens Workstation agent and the Lens Portal. For example, if you are creating a workstation image that will be cloned and used for other workstations, the API key need to be removed so that the Lens Agent re-registers for the workstations that are provisioned with the cloned image. Follow the instructions below on how to do this:

As an Administrator, open the
Registry Editor -
Navigate to the path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\7fivefive\Lens Workstation Agent -
Remove the item
ApiKey -
Restart the agent service
Restart-Service LensWsAgent
