Reporting and Monitoring

User connection quality

When users visit the Editor dashboard page, a connection test is automatically run in the background to estimate the quality of the user's internet connection, and if it will be conducive to a good remote editing experience. These statistics can be useful for administrators to see, so they are recorded for analysis at a later date.

  1. Navigate to the Reporting & Metrics page

  2. Scroll to the Connection Quality section

  3. (Optional) Filter the results with the drop-down options above the results

  4. (Optional) Download the results being displayed as a CSV by clicking the Export data button

Remote Edit Logins

Every time a user connects or disconnects from a remote editing session, the Remote Edit Dashboard records this and logs it. These statistics are useful for calculating usage patterns and resource planning. Administrators can see the user that connected, to which machine, how long the session lasted for and more. For usernames to be shown, the Broker is required and should be configured.
