Configuring your firewall
Dashboard ports
The dashboard has multiple components which each have different firewall requirements. Not all of these ports may be required for all environments, however, we would recommend that they are allowed.

Speed test ports
The speed test component is run as a Docker container on the connection manager of the Remote Edit system. Its port can be configured to any TCP port. Below is the default configuration.

Data collection
The Remote Edit Dashboard makes use of port scanning to detect system status and to detect infrastructure types.
